Welcome!

Hello and welcome. This blog is dedicated to the U.S. Supreme Court case Ford v Wainwright. The blog will cover what the Supreme Court is, information on the original case, the sides of the case, the justices that made the final decision, and so much more. Please enjoy!

Before I can even begin to start in on the fascinating case that is Ford v Wainwright, here are a few facts about the Supreme Court one should know. The Supreme Court consists of one Chief Justice and eight Judges. The Supreme Court's "job" is to settle disputes between states, hear appeals from state and federal courts, and determine the constitutionality of federal laws. To put it simply, the Supreme Court interprets the constitution. This interpretation changes when the justices change. It is all based on how the judges read the Constitution.
